Discover this park
West Lake Park is the sprawling mangrove wilderness that Anne Kolb Nature Center sits inside — around 1,500 acres of coastal wetland running roughly three miles from the C-10 Canal down to Holland Park. It is a rare thing this close to the beach: a genuine tidal ecosystem you can paddle through on marked canoe trails, with manatees, ospreys and wading birds along the way. Rent a kayak or just walk the boardwalks — either way it is one of the most immersive nature experiences in urban Broward.
